Sarah Mundy
Sarah Mundy is our Sage-grouse Program Coordinator. Sarah is an Oregon State University graduate with a BS in Rangeland Resources Management and a minor in Animal Science. Her previous experience includes working as a Range Tech for the Umatilla NF, OSU Faculty Research Assistant in Condon, Oregon, Monument SWCD, and teaching students about natural resources. Sarah has been an employee at the District since 2015. She works with private landowners to develop site specific plans that provide them protections through applying conservation practices that improve ecology and habitat for sage grouse. Grant writing and reporting, monitoring, outreach and project development also take up a chunk of her time. She hopes to have a positive impact on local rangelands and support the ranching way of life.
