Update:  Irrigation Infrastructure Project--Bid Awarded

The Harney Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting bids on an irrigation improvement project.  The SWCD proposes to:

  1. Grade 1500 feet of ditch, install 4 rice boxes (one attached to an 18 inch culvert 24 feet long), construct 1,600 feet of new irrigation ditch to grade and one 18" x 24' culvert.
  2. Install 200 feet of 24" culvert
  3. Replace wood on dam.  Priority catwalk then dam boards

There is a mandatory bid tour beginning at 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the SWCD office.  A representative from your company must be present in person for the bid tour.  Bids are due either by hand delivery or by email no later than August 28, 2024 at 4 pm.  All work must be completed by November 30, 2024.  More information and bid packet can be obtained at the HSWCD temporary office, located at 90 W Washington St., Burns, or the link above:
