Alex Dohman
Alex Dohman grew up in southeast Iowa and attended the University of Minnesota Crookston. He graduated from UMC with a Bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management with an emphasis on wildlife. After working for six years in North Dakota as a grassland restoration biologist, he then moved to Burns in 2022 to work as the Sage grouse Local Implementation Team coordinator with Pheasants Forever for the Burns and Lakeview District. He joins the SWCD, bringing his enthusiasm to continue protecting sage grouse. When he’s not working Alex enjoys hiking, wildlife photography, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
