Annual Meeting!

The HSWCD held its annual meeting at the Historic Central Hotel on Thursday, February 23rd.  Kathi Wenick and her crew whipped up a great tri-tip buffet.  The status of sage-grouse protection was discussed.  Fabulous prizes were handed out!  Thank you, once again to donors ACW (Andy’s Custom Work), Dehen 1920, and Charlotte Ganskopp!

The Pine Creek Ranch was recognized for its ongoing work in conservation. HSWCD staff Danielle Reynolds and Sarah Mundy present awards to Don and Matthew Dryer.

This is NRCS District Conservationist Zola Ryan and HSWCD Danielle Reynolds. Zola’s lifetime work was acknowledged. Zola and her family will be leaving Harney County to do mission work in Bolivia.
